  Mental blockage...
My brain is stuck. I'm trying to write some fiction but nothing is coming.

Comments:
"It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents--except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness."

--Edward George Bulwer-Lytton, Paul Clifford (1830)

Here is some inspiration.

Hey, I wrote something very similar once.

"Writer's Block is for amateurs."

--Charles Schultz

Read my Love in LIttleton thing...that'll inspire you...or depress you.

I thought I recognized the style.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair,
we had everything before us, we had nothing before us,
we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct
the other way--in short, the period was so far like the present
period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its
being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree
of comparison only.

--A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

More inspiration can't hurt. I think the world's longest palindrome might have helped...

Some things are beginning to kick loose in my brain. That's either really good or REALLY bad.

What that does mean is a f'real g=blog post and not some stupid list or rant on my stupid struggles. (Okay so my struggles aren't stupid but I must imagine they're boring to anyone not me.)

I don't know what a g=blog post is, don't ask me.

More inspiration

"The move from a structuralist account in which capital is understood to structure social relations in relatively homologous ways to a view of hegemony in which power relations are subject to repetition, convergence, and rearticulation brought the question of temporality into the thinking of structure, and marked a shift from a form of Althusserian theory that takes structural totalities as theoretical objects to one in which the insights into the contingent possibility of structure inaugurate a renewed conception of hegemony as bound up with the contingent sites and strategies of the rearticulation of power."
Judith Butler, professor of rhetoric and comparative literature,University of California 1997

Holy incomprehensible Batman.
