  Slowness at work...
Today has been a slow, but productive one. Tomorrow we are collecting used shoes for the Salvation Army and are encouraging folks to recycle car batteries and go easy on the paper use. This is all in the name of Earth Day. I'm not ordinarily a fan of made up holidays (then again aren't they all?), but I feel like this one and Arbor Day are all right by me.

Comments:
Of course you know where Arbor Day started...

You guessed it, the town where I currently live.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
