Mission Accomplished... Mostly...
Movies seen:
Transporter 2
I didn't wipe the goofy smile off my face the whole time. My only complaint was that while Kate Nauta did a good job in channeling Pris she is unfortunately not as good looking as Daryl Hannah. Surely they could afford to feed the poor thing.
Jeepers Creepers 2
Not bad. The creature effects/concept was fun. Nice gore, but not too much. It left me with several questions, not the least of which was why not put the thing through a mulcher, but overall there are worse monster movies out there. The first one was definitely better. Oh and Jonathan Breck is also better looking than Ms. Nauta.
I didn't get any writing done (the tv beast at my time). I did get to spend some good time with the kiddos, though EVERYONE is under the weather. And that's a weird expression because aren't we all? Anyway, that's all for now. ¶

daryl hannah IS perfection, but that kate chick does appear to have some abs of steel, at least that's how it looks on the poster...

I didn't like JC2 as much as the first one. I did like that we got to see the monster better, close up and with more kills, but I just didn't care about the victims. And I didn't get the throwing star made of human bone thing. It's silly when the make a sequel and give the bad guy all new power, weapons and ability that they never used in the first film. What's up with that?
The cool weapons were in the first one too I do believe. And as someone posted in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre thread (not that I want to compare this to that) it's not necessarily about getting to know the characters but about the terror of getting trapped by a monster that is largely toying with you.
