  King is King indeed...
The internet ate my first post so I'll make this short. Yes it's long and drags in spots, but at a hair over three hours that's okay. Yes it has homages to the original, but adds some nice things. Yes you feel the love between Ann and Kong, but not in a BBM kind of way. Yes he straps on his horror boots and totally kicks your butt, but there are also some great funny bits and drama that is VERY 1930's. Yes you should see this in theaters. Yes the end is a tear-jerker and I would have cried were my heart not as cold as the blackness of interstellar sapce. In short, yessssss.

“I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”” (Revelation 21: 2-4)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean.
